Boris Bakech
Boris Bakech is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at C4 Ventures and has been a key member of the investment team since the fund’s inception. He has experience in Hardware, eCommerce, Marketplaces and SaaS.
A forever tech enthusiast, Boris combines unique investment skills with a deep understanding of the digital economy. He is the lead investor of our Future of Commerce theme. In addition to his investor role, Boris leads day-to-day operations at C4.
He sits on the Boards of Directors of Allisone, Cleeng, Refurbed, and WeTheNew. He is also the lead partner for Branded, Clippings (sold to Material Bank), Everli, Impulse Space, Iziwork (sold to Proman), Lyst, Mixtiles, Riskified (IPO at Nasdaq), Trouva (sold to Made.com), and Via.
Prior to C4 Ventures, Boris worked as an Assistant Producer in the Parisian production studios at Ubisoft, where he contributed to the launch and post-launch of a AAA game, which sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. In 2011, he joined Apple as an analyst to the General Manager and Vice President of the EMEA region. In particular, he developed sales pitches for major accounts. It was at Apple where he befriended Pascal Cagni, founder of C4 Ventures. He began his career at Orange Business Services in the Indirect Sales department, where he set up and managed a new national distribution channel that achieved revenues of 2.5 million euros in its first quarter.
Boris graduated from the Grande École program at ESSEC Business School in Paris.
