C4 Industries, an entrepreneurial platform founded by Pascal Cagni and based in Paris, announces the creation of C4 Manufactures, a group bringing together 3 iconic French heritage manufactures: Maison Lelièvre, Faïencerie de Gien and Duvivier Canapés 1840. All three have been awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (EPV) label, while Lelièvre and Gien are members of the Comité Colbert. These French maisons, renowned for their exceptional artisanal and industrial savoir-faire, now benefit from a long-term strategic project designed to support their international expansion, backed by an exclusively family-owned and management-led shareholding structure with no constrained exit horizon.

Launched with C4 Industries’ investment in Maison Lelièvre in September 2024, followed by Faïencerie de Gien in September 2025 and Duvivier Canapés in November 2025, the project is now entering a new phase. All support functions are being consolidated, while product creation, brand management and manufacturing operations remain fully distinct. With 380 employees, three manufactures and a logistics center in Compiègne, C4 Manufactures already showcases French savoir-faire in more than 45 countries. C4 Industries leads the group, chaired by Pascal Cagni, while Diane Cagni sits on the Supervisory Board alongside independent board members Michel Coulomb and Alessandro Franci, and Secretary General Olivier Le Goff.

Pascal Cagni, President of C4 Manufactures:

“C4 Manufactures marks a new step in our ambition to build a leading player in French Art de vivre, bringing together “Craft, Gesture and Material” through products designed and manufactured in France. By uniting maisons with strong identities while preserving their heritage, we are creating the conditions for sustainable growth. Over the past nine years, as Non-Executive Chairman of Business France, the national agency dedicated to promoting the French economy and supporting companies internationally, I have become convinced that the long-term future of EPVs depends on their ability to expand internationally. For C4 Manufactures, the United States, the world’s leading market for high-end interior decoration, therefore represents both a strategic priority and our ‘new frontier’.”

A real industrial commitment

Since C4 Industries became a shareholder, the three maisons have benefited from several million euros of investment dedicated to modernizing their manufactures and supporting the group’s development. In Panissières, one hour from Lyon, Maison Lelièvre’s Tassinari & Chatel manufacture has been modernized with new weaving looms, a sectional warping machine (Karl Mayer), winding equipment (Fadis), ERP, CRM and Data deployment, as well as reinforced teams. In Gien, new investments enabled the installation of a dryer and an isostatic press as part of an ISO certification process. In Usson-du-Poitou, in the Vienne region, Duvivier Canapés strengthened its cabinetmaking workshop, including more than 1,000 sqm built in 2023, with a 5-axis milling machine and a vertical extraction booth.

Distinct identities united through a shared dynamic

The savoir-faire of the three maisons is unique: textile weaving and custom rugs at Lelièvre; fine faience, tableware and decoration at Gien; saddlery, upholstery and cabinetmaking at Duvivier Canapés. C4 Manufactures is built on a model of mutualization, complementarity and cooperation.

This dynamic is already a reality. Maison Lelièvre and Duvivier Canapés have exhibited together during the Design Weeks in Milan and Paris, as well as at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. In January 2026, La Pagode, the emblematic venue of Paris Déco Off, hosted a joint scenography designed by Edgar Jayet, bringing together the three maisons for the first time in a presentation that was warmly received by prescribers, international professionals and specialized media. After supporting the first Gala des Manufactures Nationales in Paris in April, the three maisons reunited during Milan Design Week & Salone del Mobile from April 20 to 26, 2026, notably through a collaboration between Maison Lelièvre and Maison Leleu. Maison Lelièvre and Faïencerie de Gien are also participating in the Comité Colbert exhibition “Hidden Treasures” in New York this May, celebrating 250 years of cultural, artisanal and economic exchanges between France and the United States.

Headquarters in Paris and integrated operational leadership

C4 Manufactures establishes its headquarters at 13 rue du Mailin Paris’ 2nd arrondissement, within the historic premises of Maison Lelièvre, in the heart of the historic weavers’ district, where the Paris teams of the three maisons will now work together. Each maison retains its own boutiques and showrooms: Maison Lelièvre at 13 rue du Mail, Faïencerie de Gien at  18 rue de l’Arcade and 13 rue Jacob in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, just steps away from Duvivier Canapés at 27 rue Mazarine. Additional points of sale in France and internationally, both directly operated and through distributors and e-commerce, including the recent launch of Gien Europe and Gien US websites, complement this network.

The operational organization of C4 Manufactures is structured around two complementary levels: brand directors responsible for the identity and development of each maison, and cross-functional teams serving the group as a whole.

Aymeric Duthoit is stepping down from his role as Managing Director of Duvivier Canapés. We warmly thank him for his commitment and contribution to the development of the maison since 2016.

“I am extremely proud of what the Duvivier Canapés teams have achieved over the past 10 years: strengthening talent, repositioning the brand, acquiring exceptional savoir-faire, winning new markets in the luxury sector, building the new cabinetmaking workshop. A new chapter is beginning. I am leaving the company while fully supporting the vision of bringing together three outstanding French maisons to help them shine internationally.”

The operational management of Duvivier Canapés is now merged with that of Maison Lelièvre and will be led by Laura Thivolet.

An Executive Committee has been established, composed of:

  • Nicolas Lesgards, Group Deputy Managing Director, Manufacturing & Operations
  • Frédéric Capelli, Group Chief Financial Officer, C4 Manufactures
  • Marc Bureau, Deputy Managing Director, Faiencerie de Gien, Head Retail Sales and Private Label
  • Laura Thivolet, Maisons Lelièvre & Duvivier, Head of Communication
  • Jimmy Littmann, Director, Head Distribution and Prescription Sales
  • Alexandre Errera, leading the Executive Committee and previously Investment Manager at C4 Industries, now appointed Group Deputy Managing Director C4 Manufactures with a particular focus on expansion in the United States.

C4 Manufactures is also building a dedicated bespoke projects team led by Marc Bureau, bringing together the product expertise of its manufactures and design offices. This capability enables the group to support interior designers, luxury hospitality players and major luxury maisons in delivering complete projects spanning textiles, tableware and bespoke furniture for the most demanding markets.

Driven by this momentum and placing particular emphasis on human capital, C4 Manufactures is actively recruiting across all its maisons. The group is seeking artisans, artistic direction professionals, IT experts, product marketing and communications specialists, as well as commercial profiles dedicated to multichannel development and specification work with architects and designers across Europe and the United States, all sharing the same commitment to excellence and French craftsmanship.

We are actively recruiting across all our maisons: artisans, designers, marketing and communications specialists, IT experts, young AI enthusiasts and commercial teams.
