Neura Robotics has raised €120 million to continue developing its humanoid robot 4NE-1. The German startup aims to secure a lasting place in the sector, where players are multiplying by launching a range of robots.
Humanoid robotics continues to attract investors. In mid-January, the German startup Neura Robotics announced it had raised €120 million – an amount added to the €55 million collected in 2023 and the €86 million raised in 2021. A significant sum, yet modest in comparison. For instance, the American startup Figure AI, supported by Microsoft, OpenAI, and the German multinational Bosch, raised a total of $800 million. This highlights the high costs of developing robots from scratch, including mechanics, sensors, and algorithms.
