Valère Rames
Valère Rames is Partner at C4 Ventures, where he leads investments in B2B software, infrastructure platforms and AI-native solutions. Based in Paris, he brings more than a decade of experience in early-stage venture capital, with a strong focus on execution, governance and exit pathways.
Before joining C4 Ventures, Valère was Partner at Hi Inov–Dentressangle, where he has been evolved in 25 investments and led over a dozen of them. He served on the boards of companies such as Zelros (sold to Earnix, Israel), Prevision.io (sold to Density.io, USA), Per Angusta (sold to SpendHQ, USA), InterCloud and Ermeo (sold to Causeway Technologies, UK), and played an active board role in shaping the trajectory of global category leaders like Deepki (ESG data for real estate) and Glopal (cross-border e-commerce solutions). He also supported Agorapulse (social media management platform) during its expansion phase.
At Hi Inov, Valère played a key role in driving several cross-border exits to strategic buyers and private equity firms, while helping founders structure and scale their organizations with long-term discipline.
Valère began his career in venture capital at Seventure Partners, covering France and Germany. Earlier in his path, he held several technical and product-facing roles in the high-frequency trading and defense industries, which gave him a solid technical foundation and a sharp understanding of complex systems.
He holds an engineering degree from ESIEE Paris and a Master in Finance from ESSEC Business School.
